Question by Just that guy.: how would someone grow magic mushrooms from magic mushrooms?
Ive researched a Fair bit into growing with spores and what not, but i want to know if its possible to just grow some from some.
Let’s say i got a few of them, got the heads and placed them in a jar on top of dirt, in another jar on top of dung, in another jar something else.
Would this at all work?
Please i want to know only how to grow from magic mushrooms (psilocybe cubensis).
And please don’t tell me drugs are bad, as i am not going to ingest them its illegal. I am doing this for the sake of research.

Actually, in more juristictions it is quite legal to own magic mushrooms so long as they are fresh and not dried. Where do you live anyway? So, if you just have the fresh mushrooms, you are safe. Also, of all the hallucinogens, psylocibin is one of the least dangerous…. just never buy it off the street because you never know WHAT is in it and it is very seldom sold in a pure, unadulterated form. Also, never do any of this stuff alone: make sure you have someone you trust with you, and make sure they remain in a “natural” state… just in case!!
You need to get the spores in order to grow mushrooms; you can’t just plant mushroom caps. Find some growing wild, and when they grow old and start to shrivel up, harvest the spores by tapping the mushroom caps on a piece of paper. Then just sprinkle the spores over your dirt and dung mixture, keep things moist but not wet, and you should be growing the magic guys in no time!!
