If I was thinking of doing magic mushrooms, how should I do them? What is some good advice?

Question by Robby Lace: If I was thinking of doing magic mushrooms, how should I do them? What is some good advice?
I want someone to give me some very in depth information on taking mushrooms! Thank you!
So far I have this:
1. Trust who you get them from
2. Exaggerated light and colors
3. Put them with food.

How much should I take the first time? I am 6′-6″ and 210lbs.
Should we have a designated “sober” person? I plan on doing them with my brother, and best friend, alone in my friends house or my place, where we will be safe.

Q&A: We’re about to take magic mushrooms, what should we expect?

Question by Terry J: We’re about to take magic mushrooms, what should we expect?
There’s 5 of us all in total and we’re going out later tonight but before we do we’re gonna try magic mushrooms for the first time. We’re going out in like 4hours so hopefully we should be stable by then. Anyway we know how much we should each take, but what exactly are the effects of magic mushrooms? What happens?

Glazed Garden Pots – Should I use them?

Glazed pots have been sitting on our verandas, courtyards for decades and for their great qualities they will forever be a terrific option for your prized plants.

The colors we have to choose from in glazed pots nowadays is fantastic . Going back  19 years ago there was really a few to choose from. It could be that back then there was only a couple of colors that the public were interested in . As of today we are spoilt for color options eg. dark red, blue, green, matt black, billiard ball black, white . You can just about have a colour to match your curtains . The shapes are endless too , you’ll find pots that are a tall pot, a short pot, a square pot, or a round pot . The combinations are endless .

Glazed pots are by the nature of them cooked very well . A glazed pot has to be cooked in the kiln to 1100 degrees Celsius at least or the glaze won’t melt onto the pot . Unglazed pots are often cooked well below this temperature, producing a pot that is weaker and more fragile than a glazed pot.

The outside coating on glazed garden pots usually perfect . The finish has a mirrored look that a can of hi gloss paint would not produce . It is impossible to chip glaze off the side of a pot as it is merged into the clay at 1100 degrees .

If you have water restrictions glazed pots are a good option. The reason being that glazed pots are non porous, they don’t absorb water at all. When purchasing an unglazed pot the salesperson should suggest you buy a sealer so that the plant can use the water, instead of some going into the pot . Also countries that have very cold weather or snow like this feature. An unglazed pot will absorb the water and when the extreme weather hits the water in the pot freezes , expands and breaks the pot open .

In conclusion for quality, variety, the health of your prized plants you can’t beat a glazed pot

Question by raisenet: How should I clean a scorched pot or pan?
Unfortunately my wife left the burner on, with tomato soup in the pot. After dinner I noticed it was on so I turned it off, but now the pot is scorched. Any suggestions are appreciated!

Can I glue together a broken handle on a pot lid? If so, what kind of glue should I use?

Question by Emily Dew: Can I glue together a broken handle on a pot lid? If so, what kind of glue should I use?
I just broke the handle on a pot lid. It’s part of a set and fits all my other pots perfectly. I don’t want to have to buy a new set just to replace one lid. I’m wondering if I can glue it back together. I’m concerned because of the high heat associated with cooking. This pot lid covers my skillet as well as a large soup pot and gets a lot of use. Thanks!

I’ll bet Gorilla Glue would do the trick.

How large of a pot should I transplant a tree from the wild?

Question by DJ: How large of a pot should I transplant a tree from the wild?
I want to transplant a Chinese Maple about 2 to 3 feet tall to a pot so I can begin training it for bonsai. What size pot should I put it in and what type of soil?

Answer by thegubmint
For a tree that size, no more than a 2 gallon pot should be necessary to transport it. Just plant it in normal top soil mixed with a little potting medium. I just did this with about a 4 footer that I then chopped to about 2 1/2. I trimmed the tap roots and put it into a 10 inch clay azalea pot where it seems to be doing just fine. I’ll move it to a bonsai pot next year.

I just got the switch landyachtz longboard and i dont like the graphic so i want to cover it will a cool sticker or two. Which stickers look cool and where should i get them?

Best answer:

Answer by Firenjen
Getting some for mine too :D Go for skate stickers, or surf stickers if you like that tooo. You can get free Lush stickers from the website. Maybe make a short list of your fave skate brands, or whatever, and check the websites. Most of them sell stickers for cheep because they’re promotional of their products so they should be relatively easy to get. Also some skate companys like Vans put stickers in the box when you buy shoes, so double whammy there :D Hope the sticker search goes good and your board looks IMENSE :D

What size pot should I use to grow a perennial passion vine?

Question by Froda: What size pot should I use to grow a perennial passion vine?
How much does the size of the pot matter to the health and longevity of the plant? If the pot is too small will it just not grow to be as big or will it kill the plant?
I have Passiflora edulis growing in a very large pot (>5 gallons). I’m about to start growing P. incarnata, P. maliformis, P. rubra, P. trifasciata, and eventually others.

Best answer:

Answer by Deke
You need at least a two gallon pot.

Personally, I use a five gallon and plant 3 or 4 different kinds of passionvines in it.

The issue is keeping it watered. The smaller the pot, the more often you have to water.

Some passion vines will wilt, then rebound quickly when you water. Other species will just die if they get dry.

It helps to know which one you have, since there are about 500 or so species of them and a couple of hundred species and hybrids in cultivation.

Check your local library for “Passion Flowers” by John Vanderplank or “Passiflora, Passionflowers of the World” by Ulmer and MacDougal for more information.

Logees.com and kartuz.com also have a lot of information and different Passiflora for sale.
